About me: I LOVE extreme weather. Tornadoes(preferably in open land), hurricanes, monster hail, you name it! I have been interested in the weather ever since May 3rd 1999 when a devastating and deadly tornado ripped through highly poplulated areas. I was so amazed by the powerfull force of the tornado, and the effect it made on people's lives that I wanted to learn more. And eventually, as the years passed I figured out what I wanted to do, chase storms and become a meteorologist. Each year I am constantly learning new things about Oklahoma's and more importantly the world's fast changing weather. I just started following what we call computer models this year, and I have already become accustomed to them. I can read them clearly and accurately. A lot of people rely on me for weather forecasts, and sometimes I can create forecasts opposed to the local news and I turn out to be the one who's right. I have a lot to learn, but I am fairly good for my age.
Now some presonal things about me: I am 15 years old(but don't be discouraged, I know quite a lot) I live in the heartland of tornado alley in the amazing state of Oklahoma. I really enjoy living in Oklahoma, cause the weather is constantly changing. You never know whats next. We basically get a little bit of everything. I currently just finished junior high at Moore West, and will be attending Westmore Highschool in August of 2008. I love listening to music, photography, and working with computers. But my most important hobby as you can probably guess, is weather....EXTREME weather that is;)
